Associates design research projects and acquire funds for the research themselves and then link up with the Centre as an institution to host the research;
 

Associates work together with the Centre to develop research proposals and then participate in carrying out the research;
 

Associates who may be invited by the Centre to participate in a research project which the Centre has designed and for which it requires research inputs best provided by research associate; and
 

Associates can also collaborate as Resource Persons in training events which the Centre organizes for academic institutions, training institutes, Government, Donors or CSOs.
